Double-Board Certified Facial Plastic Surgeon
Dan Givens, MD
Dr. Daniel Givens is double-board certified in Facial Plastic Surgery by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology, Head & Neck Surgery. Dr. Givens' approach to aesthetic medicine is unique in that he focuses exclusively on cosmetic and reconstructive procedures of the face, head, and neck. His holistic approach to facial rejuvenation promotes natural surgical and non-surgical results that allow his patients’ own beauty and health to shine without appearing overdone. In addition to surgery, Dr. Givens' patient-centered medical philosophy allows him to care for his patients as he would his own family, with honesty, integrity, and meticulous attention to detail.

Katie Knapp, PA-C
Katie graduated from the University of Iowa with a Professional Master in Nursing in Healthcare Practice and a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. Before joining the Givens MD Facial Plastics | Aesthetics team Katie worked in family practice and primary care. Katie has been with Dr. Givens at Givens MD Facial Plastics | Aesthetics from the very beginning, playing a variety of key roles behind the scenes as well as working with patients as an injector. Katie has a passion for talking with patients and forming long-lasting relationships. When she is not in the office, Katie enjoys running, reading, traveling, and spending time with her family.
Aesthetic Nurse
Heather Clark, RN, BSN
Heather is a Registered Nurse who earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Clarke University and has been a valued member of the Givens MD Facial Plastics | Aesthetics team for the past seven years. In her role, she works closely alongside Dr. Givens, assisting with patient care both in the clinic and during surgical procedures to help ensure each patient has a seamless experience.
Heather enjoys being part of a team that is dedicated to helping patients look and feel their best. Her favorite treatment is a Hydrafacial, which she loves for the refreshed, healthy glow it gives her skin and the noticeable improvement in both its appearance and feel.
When she's not at work, Heather enjoys spending quality time with her family, getting lost in a good book, and taking advantage of the outdoors whenever she can.
Aesthetic PA
Katelynn "Kat" Knipper, PA-C
Kat holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Luther College and a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Dubuque. Initially, Kat specialized as a cardiothoracic surgery PA, later transitioning to ENT Head & Neck Surgery under the mentorship of Dr. Givens. In 2022, she joined the Givens MD Facial Plastics | Aesthetics team, where she supports Dr. Givens both in the operating room and in postoperative management, focusing on cosmetic and reconstructive procedures. Kat’s favorite treatment is the BBL/Moxi, complemented by a custom skincare regimen that has significantly improved her skin.
Outside of her professional life, Kat is an avid hiker, often accompanied by her husband and their two border collies. She also enjoys yoga, reading, traveling, and delving into true crime podcasts.
Licensed Aesthetician
Olivia Moore, LME
Olivia is a licensed aesthetician with a degree in finance from Iowa State University. She joined Givens MD Facial Plastics | Aesthetics in January 2026, bringing valuable experience from her time as a medical aesthetician in a medspa and as a medical assistant in dermatology. Her background in advanced skincare treatments and clinical patient care allows her to deliver results-driven services with a thoughtful, personalized approach.
At Givens MD Facial Plastics | Aesthetics, Olivia provides microneedling, facials, chemical peels, and dermaplaning, combining clinical expertise with customized skincare education and recommendations. She is passionate about helping clients feel confident in their skin and especially enjoys performing microneedling and dermaplaning because of their ability to deliver noticeable, confidence-boosting results.
Outside of work, Olivia enjoys spending time with her husband and dogs, cooking, reading, and traveling.
Patient Care Coordinator & Licensed Aesthetician
Anna Wilkinson
Anna Wilkinson is a Patient Care Coordinator and Licensed Aesthetician whose passion for skincare began through her own personal journey. After struggling with skin concerns growing up and searching for answers, she was inspired to pursue a career in aesthetics to help others achieve healthy, confident skin.
Anna earned her aesthetics education from Capri College in Dubuque, Iowa, and is currently pursuing a nursing degree at Northeast Iowa Community College (NICC) in Peosta to continue expanding her knowledge in patient care and medical aesthetics.
Anna loves working in a medical aesthetics setting where advanced treatments can address skin concerns on a deeper level. She is passionate about building trusting relationships with patients, educating them throughout their treatment journey, and helping them feel confident every step of the way.
Anna's favorite treatments include ClearSilk, microneedling, and Hydrafacial. She also enjoys helping patients build simple, effective skincare routines, often recommending vitamin C, retinol, and daily sunscreen.
When she's not at Givens MD Facial Plastics | Aesthetics, Anna enjoys spending time with her boyfriend and their rescued cats, traveling to new places, relaxing around a bonfire, and never passing up a good ice cream.
Licensed Aesthetician and Certified Laser Technician
Kylie Maas
Kylie Maas is a Licensed Esthetician and Certified Laser Technician with a passion for helping patients achieve healthy, confident skin through advanced laser treatments. Originally from Dubuque, Iowa, Kylie recently returned home after spending four years working alongside an oculofacial plastic surgeon in Arizona. Prior to that, she worked as an esthetician and laser technician at a dermatology practice in the Chicago suburbs, where her passion for medical aesthetics truly began.
Kylie earned her aesthetics education from Capri College in Dubuque and later became a certified laser technician through the SAA Laser Institute in Arizona. She holds advanced certifications in a wide range of laser treatments, including acne and scar reduction, skin rejuvenation, hair reduction, tattoo removal, wrinkle reduction, vascular treatments, and more. She especially loves working with Sciton laser technology and is passionate about combining treatments to deliver exceptional results.
At Givens MD Facial Plastics | Aesthetics, Kylie enjoys educating patients throughout their skincare journey and helping them understand that healthy skin is achieved through consistency and personalized treatment plans. Her favorite treatments are the BBL HEROic® and MOXI® combination, and she's a strong believer in daily SPF, retinol, and SkinCeuticals C E Ferulic® to maintain healthy, glowing skin.
When she's not in the office, Kylie enjoys traveling, hiking in Grand Teton National Park, visiting local favorites like House of China, Brazen, and Galena, and spending time with her two rescue cats, Benny and Benito, her favorite "foster fails."

Leah Kruger
Leah is a Patient Care Coordinator with a bachelor's degree in Business Management from the University of Northern Iowa (Go Panthers!). Before joining Givens MD Facial Plastics | Aesthetics, she spent ten years in the manufacturing industry and also works as a part-time photographer.
Although her path into aesthetics wasn't a traditional one, Leah has always been passionate about skincare. From experimenting with her mom's Revision skincare products as a young girl to staying current on the latest treatments and products, her love for the industry has only continued to grow.
At Givens MD Facial Plastics | Aesthetics, Leah enjoys being part of an ever-evolving field and loves helping patients feel confident in their own skin. She especially enjoys learning about new skincare innovations, connecting with patients, and working alongside a team that shares her passion for helping others look and feel their best.
Patient Coordinator
Janel Kluesner
Janel is an experienced educator and certified parenting coach who has recently embarked on a new journey in the world of aesthetics. She holds a degree in Elementary Education from Loras College and spent 25 years in the teaching profession, where she developed a deep understanding of individual needs and the importance of nurturing growth.
Transitioning to the aesthetic industry, Janel joined Givens MD Facial Plastics | Aesthetics and has experienced a remarkable transformation in her skin, fueling her passion for skincare. Her commitment to personal and professional growth in aesthetics is driven by the visible changes she has witnessed and the advanced skincare techniques she has embraced at Faces.
Janel is a Jai-certified parenting coach, which complements her role at Givens MD Facial Plastics | Aesthetics by enhancing her ability to connect with clients on a personal level. She values heart-to-heart connections and finds inspiration in the stories of men and women dedicated to caring for their skin and aging gracefully.
Janel's favorite treatment is AquaGold treatment, though she finds it difficult to choose just one favorite. When she isn't at Givens MD Facial Plastics | Aesthetics, Janel continues to apply her coaching skills and educational background to foster strong relationships and promote wellness in all aspects of life.
